GUIDELINES FOR RETROFIT PROJECTS: BIM-BASED METHODOLOGY

This manual aims to present the technical procedures for developing intervention projects in existing buildings (retrofit) using Building Information Modeling (BIM). The application of BIM as a methodology for the development of integrated building projects has grown significantly over the past decade. Although BIM provides speed and precision in meeting the demands of the real estate and construction markets, it still needs to be adapted to certain functions, such as those related to territorial approaches and retrofit.
